POSITION TITLE:
Housekeeper
JOB SUMMARY: Performs routine cleaning and other duties in the Clubhouse, golf locker rooms, cart barn, tennis locker rooms, Pro Shop, Nautilus Fitness Center, pool, Cabana, course restrooms and shelters.
WORK PERFORMED:
Maintains cleanliness of all bathroom and shower areas (all fixtures, shower walls and other tile walls) disinfects all sinks, toilets, urinals, telephones and floors. Polishes all brass, empties all waste containers and restocks amenities when needed.
Maintains all member areas throughout the property; vacuums and cleans all carpeting; clean mirrors, windows and walls; dust furniture, doors and baseboards and light fixtures; polishes all brass; cleans and polishes lounge floor and wood floor; empties waste baskets.
Cleans administrations offices and all non-member areas; dusts and polishes all counters, cabinets, desk and file cabinets; washes all windows sills and blinds.
Performs any errands as needed, including towel pick-up and delivery and trash pick-up and disposal.
Responsible for pressure washing kitchen floor each week. When possible pressure washing all outside areas - sidewalks, course bathrooms and shelters.
Performs other duties as required by supervisor, assistant club manager and the general manager.
Requirements PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Requires occasional bending, reaching, stretching.
May be required to work in heat and sun for prolonged periods of time.
May be required to climb ladders of 8 feet.
