Responsibilities
Distribute and accurately record gasoline disbursed in vehicles.
Enter fuel usage in AS400 via TC75.
Start vehicles, check fuel gauges, mark vehicles that need fuel, and return to fuel them.
Report and record auction gasoline levels and alert proper person to avoid running out of gasoline in main fill area.
Report inoperable vehicles to Supervisor or Assistant Manager.
Jump start vehicles and put air in tires if needed.
Report damage or malfunctioning equipment on vehicles (e.g., pumps, fuel trucks).
Assist customers in locating vehicles.
Assist in sale day duties as needed (e.g., drive, act as lane leader, jump start vehicles, etc.).
Assist in audits of gasoline disbursement when necessary.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field.
Alternative qualifications: any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years of experience in a related field.
Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
Preferred
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
Medium strength; ability to lift 1–50 pounds.
Vision requirements include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Exposure to outdoor elements, including extreme heat and cold.
Moderate noise level.
Compensation Hourly base pay rate is $14.71 – $22.12/hour, may vary based on location and candidate qualifications. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission and/or incentive program.
Benefits Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Additional paid time off includes bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
