Job Description This position supports marketing and student life programming for evening students at Lone Star College – CyFair campus. The role requires an in-depth knowledge of student life functions, and the ability to act as a primary expert, providing advice and information to others. Responsibilities include planning and executing Student Life events, coordinating publicity and marketing, and ensuring compliance with district policies.

Plans and coordinates events for evening students and students at the LSC Location
Maintains data and creates reports related to Registered Student Organizations and Student Life events
Designs publicity and marketing materials for Student Life and student organizations
Coordinates printing or ordering of publicity and marketing materials
Supervises student workers during evening hours
Assists with large-scale Student Life events, as needed
Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Must have strong customer service skills
Demonstrated ability and commitment to work collaboratively
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead change
Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the comprehensive community college

Physical Abilities The work is sedentary, primarily sitting at a workstation. Occasional walking, standing, bending, or carrying light items such as papers, books, or small parts may occur.
Work Schedule and Conditions
Equipment includes a PC workstation in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and general office equipment
Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Compensation Hourly Pay Rate: $15.60
