The Cook will provide quality service and consistent product delivery while assisting the kitchen staff with daily upkeep of the facility’s kitchen(s) in Catering and Food & Beverage. Job Details
Location: Pinellas Park, FL Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: Food & Beverage Director Status: Part‑Time (Non‑Exempt) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cook and prepare food Serve food in proper pre‑determined portion sizes at the correct temperature Maintain appearance of all equipment and serving counters Maintain inventory in the stock room Clean kitchen area before and after business hours Scrub, sanitize, and store pots and pans, utensils, and dishes Assist in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchase order tracking, clean‑up, transfers, and minor equipment maintenance Perform other related duties as required Minimum Qualifications
Understand and follow both oral and written instructions Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons Must be able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, long hours) and regular attendance is necessary Must have excellent interpersonal skills, problem‑solving skills, and be a team player Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high Employee occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Employee exposed to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with extreme caution May work in outside weather conditions and can be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions Significant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling Required to operate a computer Facility has intermittent noise
