Job Summary The
Event Catering Attendant
is responsible for providing on-site support for catered events, including transporting materials to event locations, setting up event spaces, ensuring food and service areas are properly arranged, and breaking down equipment after each event. This part-time role requires a reliable, detail-oriented individual who can deliver a smooth, professional, and positive experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to assigned event locations with catering equipment, supplies, and materials.
Set up event spaces, including tables, linens, food stations, beverages, décor, and equipment as required.
Ensure all food and beverage items are organized, presented neatly, and maintained to company standards.
Assist with on-site service as needed (refilling items, helping guests, keeping the area clean).
Break down event setups after completion, including packing equipment, consolidating supplies, and cleaning the space.
Return all equipment and materials to the main location following the event.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment.
Communicate any issues, needs, or changes to the event coordinator or management team.
Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor while representing the company.
Qualifications
Prior catering, event, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift, carry, and transport equipment (typically 25–50 lbs).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and remain flexible with schedule changes or event needs.
