Position Details
Location: 2085 E. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti, MI 48198
Schedule: 5‑day work week starting at 2 p.m. until finish.
Pay: $18 an hour with the opportunity to earn incentive and premium pay.
Walk‑ins are always welcome – same‑day interview available.
Primary Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently pick product and prepare orders for shipment, observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process.
Works independently and communicates well with other departments (verbally, in writing, or via computer) to move work through the system in an organized fashion.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Accurately and efficiently picks and packs product according to established standards.
Runs scanning equipment.
Packs orders to the customer’s requirement and/or from provided specifications.
Meets established productivity and quality standards.
Identifies mistakes and problems, recommends solutions, provides candid and timely feedback to all levels in the organization, involves others in problem‑solving when needed, and sees all responsibilities through successful completion.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
Able to lift and stack product between 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
Able to work in multi‑temperature environments (e.g., cooler, freezer, and dry).
Pass pre‑employment drug test.
