Sasha’s Home Care Agency is a newly established, licensed non-medical home care agency preparing for a soft launch. We are intentionally building a strong, reliable caregiver team before taking on a full client caseload.

Position Summary The In-Home Services Worker provides
non-medical care and support
to clients in their personal residences to help them live safely, comfortably, and independently. Services include assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), companionship, light housekeeping, and safety monitoring, in accordance with Illinois regulations.
Assignments and hours will vary based on client needs during this startup phase.
Pay Structure (Transparent & Fair) $17–$25/hour , based on:
Level of care required
Client acuity (companion care, personal care, dementia support)
Shift type (day, evening, overnight, weekend)
Experience, training, and reliability
Key Responsibilities (Based on Assignment)
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and feeding
Provide companionship and emotional support
Prepare meals and assist with errands when assigned
Perform light housekeeping and laundry
Monitor client safety and report concerns or changes in condition
Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow care plans
Complete required documentation accurately and timely
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Permitted Non-Medical Tasks (Performed after training and competency evaluation)
Personal hygiene and mouth care
Ambulation and transfers using assistive devices
Toileting and incontinence care
Meal preparation and safe feeding assistance
Medication reminders (pre-dosed only)
Light housekeeping and laundry
Nail filing (not cutting), repositioning, shaving (electric razor only)
Oxygen support tasks when trained
Prohibited Tasks Caregivers may
not
perform medical or licensed tasks, including:
Administering medications or injections
Wound care or dressing changes
Managing catheters, IVs, or tubes
Handling client finances or acting as power of attorney
Any task requiring a professional license
Scheduling Expectations (Soft Launch — Please Read) This is a startup soft-launch position :
Hours may begin
as-needed or backup
No guaranteed hours at hire
Consistent schedules increase as clients are onboarded
Caregivers who demonstrate
flexibility and reliability
are prioritized for permanent placements
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or family care)
Current CPR & First Aid certification required
(or must be obtained before first assignment)
Ability to provide personal care if assigned
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check and onboarding requirements
Ability to follow care plans and document services
Compassionate, dependable, and professional
Preferred (Not Required):
Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience
Overnight or weekend availability
