Administrative Assistant I/Receptionist
Clinton Township, Michigan
Contract position through April 2026 (potential to turn into a longer-term position)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
Description of the Administrative Assistant I/Receptionist
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions
Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbooks; issuing visitor badges
Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacture's instructions for house phone and console operation
Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Required Education of the Administrative Assistant I/Receptionist
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of experience required
Required Skills of the Administrative Assistant I/Receptionist To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
