Physical Therapy Technician – Scarsdale Scarsdale, Westchester, NY Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Physical Therapy Technician to join the team at our Scarsdale clinic in Westchester.

Spear Physical Therapy provides a full range of outpatient therapy services through its robust list of services covered by most major insurances.

Base Pay Range $17.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Responsibilities

Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist.

Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service.

Collaborate with the team to ensure a true community environment for patients and team members.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience.

Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.

A strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.

Athletic experience a plus!

Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity, general strength and endurance.

Lifting—routine loads of 5-35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead.

Carrying—routine loads of 5-10 pounds for 40-50 minutes.

Pushing—routine loads of 5-150 pounds on casters, runners or pulleys.

Sustaining a grip—routine for 1-2 minutes of 40-50 pounds.
