Career Coach Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking an energetic, self‑motivated, dynamic professional to serve as a Career Coach. The role requires flexibility, a strong character, knowledge of coaching methods, and a consistent willingness to help individuals in the community.

Job Details Full‑time | The Spot, Louisville, KY

Essential Duties

Assist in recruiting program participants.

Complete needs assessments and conduct intake interviews to determine financial barriers.

Help participants with job search and placement activities.

Develop individualized action plans for external retail participants based on their barriers, needs, and goals.

Locate additional resources and make referrals to other agencies as needed.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human relations, social work, rehabilitation counseling, or related field (preferred).

Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in workforce development, human services, or counseling environments serving individuals with disabilities or disadvantages.

Maintain participant confidentiality and follow the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor Code of Ethics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Physical Demands

Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time.
