Join EY’s technology and managed services legal group as a Senior Counsel for Products & Platforms.
You will advise on technology products, platforms, SaaS, AI, cloud, big data, and related agreements while supporting EY’s global business and internal product teams. Key Responsibilities
Draft, negotiate, and update client‑facing product and platform agreements, maintaining contractual strategy and risk. Collaborate with US GCO members, local counsel, intellectual property counsel, and procurement counsel on product commercialization. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Data Privacy, Information Security, Independence, Quality, Tax) to support product development. Enhance EY policies and guidance relevant to technology products and. Advise internal product teams on new product and platform development and the related legal landscape. Manage workflow in a dynamic environment, remaining responsive, reliable, and accountable to leadership and GCO members. Provide practicable legal advice to internal product teams and business stakeholders. Build relationships and team seamlessly with GCO and other Legal Practice Groups to deliver exceptional legal service. Develop and deliver training on product and platform agreements, knowledge sharing, and best practice across the legal network. Qualifications
7+ years of technology‑related transactional experience, drafting and negotiating product and platform agreements. Strong background in SaaS, software licenses, emerging technologies, and go‑to‑market delivery models. Experience developing contracting templates, playbooks, and standards. Adept at leveraging legal and technology tools to optimize teaming. Experience in data privacy, data security, licensing, and intellectual property law. Experience with cross‑border contracting and data transfer. Ability to assess and negotiate terms for cloud, AI, and emerging technologies and explain related legal and business risks. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. High cultural and emotional intelligence with resilience and adaptability. Independent and effective team player across functions and geographies. Juris Doctor, state bar admission, and good standing. What We Look For
