Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer‑focused Class B driver who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Raleigh, NC area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some overtime and good benefits. Our vehicle fleet is modern and well‑maintained. We supply PPE and provide thorough training to ensure you are protected and prepared.
Responsibilities
Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations
Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships
Operate vehicles in a safe manner (up to 26‑ft box trucks)
Complete deliveries on schedule, and clearly communicate changes or challenges as they arise
Load and unload, prioritize and organize your truck per schedule and needs
Manage a route per leadership's direction, delivering timely, efficient and effective service
Comply with DOT regulations, log hours and perform roadside inspections
Heavy lifting!
Qualifications
Class B license
Delivery experience within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling (advantageous, not mandatory)
Willingness to work full‑time hours, approx. 40 hours a week
Experience with pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle evaluations
Clean driving record
A flexible, can‑do attitude with a strong customer focus
Experience operating vehicles up to 26‑ft box trucks
Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
Proven longevity in past employment
On‑time delivery practices
