Store Night Clerk – Kroger Mountain View Foods
Join Kroger Mountain View Foods as a Store Night Clerk. Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor all established quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities
Promote trust and respect among associates.
Provide a welcoming environment and answer product questions.
Maintain knowledge of products to recommend items and specials.
Check product quality, review sell‑by dates, and label stock.
Inventory merchandise to ensure customers receive fresh products.
Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies.
Display a positive attitude and stay current with seasonal and special ads.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
Reinforce safety programs, inspect equipment, and notify management of repairs or accidents.
Report all safety risks, illegal activity, and report accidents.
Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
Minimum
Ability to handle stressful situations.
Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
Effective communication skills.
Desired
Any retail experience.
Second language (speaking, reading or writing).
