Adjunct Instructors - Mathematics & Science

Adjunct Instructor – Mathematics & Science We are seeking adjunct instructors to teach lecture and/or laboratory courses in Mathematics, Science, and related disciplines for the upcoming academic year. Course sections may be scheduled during the day, late afternoon/evening, or weekends and may be delivered in‑person, hybrid, or online.

Areas of Instruction

Anatomy and Physiology

Biology

Chemistry

Earth and Space Science

General Physical Science

Mathematics (quantitative reasoning, statistical reasoning, applied algebra, pre‑calculus)

Microbiology

Nutrition

General Physics (algebra‑based)

Responsibilities • Deliver course content, design and grade assessments, and meet with full‑time faculty, program coordinators, or the Division Director to support outcome learning assessments for credit courses.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in the discipline of teaching or a Master’s in Education/Teaching with at least 12 graduate credits in a specific science or mathematics discipline.

Minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience.

Location Requirement Instructors interested in online teaching opportunities must be located in MD, PA, VA, or WV.
