Belt Technician II - 2nd shift

Hours: Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM – 12 AM.
Job Description As a Conveyor Belt Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related industrial products. Your day will involve operating light industrial equipment, managing shipping and receiving operations, traveling to install product, and providing on‑call assistance as required.
Responsibilities
Process orders safely and efficiently while operating light industrial equipment.
Communicate with supervisors regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and production issues.
Ensure timely shipping of belting products and properly receive shipments.
Maintain shipping/receiving department supplies.
Process and maintain production reports.
Travel to various installation sites; occasional overnight travel required (company will reimburse gas, meals, and hotel).
Provide on‑call assistance as needed.
Recognize appropriate inventory usage, report low levels to supervisor, maintain cycle‑count logs, and participate in annual inventory.
Build relationships through collaboration.
Qualifications
High School diploma.
Valid driver’s license.
Flexibility to work occasional nights and/or weekends.
Previous industrial or production experience.
Strong basic math skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials (≈75 lbs on average).
Ability to bend, stoop, rotate arms, and perform repetitive motions; some climbing required.
Leadership acumen.
