Responsibilities
Packaging line duties include packing finished product into plastic to be shrink wrapped, packing into buckets, pails or cartons.
Stack pallets, load cheese onto conveyors, clean equipment and room.
Move pallets of cheese and totes on rolling racks, prepare supplies and labels.
Verify and document product codes and ensure materials are correct.
Complete packaging and sanitation paperwork correctly; clean & sanitize equipment and work areas as needed and directed.
Operate packaging equipment and perform other related duties as assigned.
Shift & Pay Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 am until done – Tuesday through Saturday each week.
Pay Rate: Starting at $19.00 per hour, or more based on experience.
Qualifications
Cheese/food industry experience is preferred but not required.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Good attendance record is required.
Must be a team player.
Employees are required to stand for the duration of the shift, perform frequent bending, stooping, turning, reaching, grasping and lifting up to 50 pounds.
