About The Southern Gentleman The Southern Gentleman is a modern Southern gastropub located in the heart of Buckhead, celebrating the best of Southern hospitality through elevated cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and gracious service. We take pride in using fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating dishes that honor both tradition and innovation.
Position Overview We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine love for great food. You’ll work alongside a talented team of chefs to execute high‑quality dishes that delight our guests and uphold the standards of The Southern Gentleman.
Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items according to recipe specifications and presentation standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout service
Uphold proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
Assist with daily prep, inventory, and kitchen organization
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service
Follow direction from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef while bringing a positive, team‑first attitude
Contribute to a culture of consistency, professionalism, and pride in craftsmanship
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a high‑volume, full‑service kitchen preferred
Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
Dependable, punctual, and passionate about hospitality and food
Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
