Lead Appliance Repair Technician
Are you the technician others call when they are stuck? Do you get excited when teaching your knowledge of appliances to other technicians? Do you enjoy helping others and teaching your craft? Would you like to be part of improving the home life of families in your community?
We’re looking for a Lead Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service and leading a team of technicians, with no nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair home appliances by troubleshooting, providing cost estimates, communicating with the customer, and collecting payments.
Lead a team of Appliance Repair Technicians to properly diagnose and repair appliances.
Serve as a resource and technical support for the team.
Effectively communicate with the office.
Qualifications & Desired Skills Exceptional Customer Service:
Act as the face of the company, delivering a great customer experience, showing empathy, and accurately diagnosing and solving problems.
From Diagnosis to Solution:
Explain what’s wrong and help the customer understand the needed actions to resolve issues quickly.
Quality of Work:
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem‑solving to ensure customers are satisfied and the job is fixed correctly the first time.
Efficiency:
Respond to all customer needs efficiently and complete repairs quickly.
Punctuality and Reliability:
Be available and arrive on time to deliver a great experience.
Pride in the Details:
Keep work vehicle clean, organized, and maintain accurate customer information and reports.
Thirst for Knowledge:
Stay updated on new appliances and features through regular training and research.
Desire to Share Knowledge and Skill:
Enjoy teaching other technicians the skills above.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Previous experience of four years or more in appliance repair is a plus.
Benefits & Pay Pay range: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities to earn bonuses and commissions.
