TEM Imaging Technician (Night Shift)

Position Summary
In your role as a Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Imaging Technician, you'll operate a transmission electron microscope for MTS sample imaging, understand layout, structures and process steps, perform automated or manual measurements for critical dimensions, and report to customers. You will also provide feedback to the sample prep team to improve sample quality, learn new analytical techniques, and improve output and efficiency for better team throughput and TAT.
Role and Responsibilities
Follow SOP and job instructions.
Operate TEM tools of various models to provide timely and high-quality BF and STEM images.
Provide accurate automated or manual measurements of critical dimensions based on customer demands.
Learn new techniques, such as EDX mapping, and process knowledge to improve analysis capability and quality.
Strive for output and efficiency improvement to help the team achieve TAT and capa goals.
Collaborate closely with prep team to provide feedback for sample quality improvement and coordinate efforts on urgent requests.
Education and Experience
2-3 year college associate degree.
Semiconductor failure analysis experience with hands‑on SEM and FIB operation.
Hands‑on TEM operation experience preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to operate failure analysis equipment (FIB and SEM) independently; hands‑on TEM experience preferred.
Able to work entire 12‑hour shift and sit for prolonged periods.
Good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $18.60 - $45.00 per hour, plus a competitive benefits package and participation in company incentive compensation programs based on performance.

Work Schedule B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays.
