Base pay : $18.00/hr

Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops. Regularly remove trash and place it in designated containers.
Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment properly. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
Replenish cleaning supplies, such as dish detergent, sanitizers, and towels, as needed.
Properly sort and organize clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for easy access and efficiency in the kitchen.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.
Show willingness and ability to cross‑train across various roles in the restaurant to ensure rapid growth in responsibilities and contribution to team success.
Support with any additional duties assigned.
Requirements
Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Must possess dexterity to operate industrial dishwashing machines, handle pots/pans, and other equipment with attention to detail.
Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.
Must be familiar with the measurement system.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to bend and reach overhead often.
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
