Job Summary And Qualifications An Electrical Technician is a skilled worker who is experienced at working with electrical systems in acute care facilities, or commercial and industrial settings. As an Electrical Technician, responsibilities and duties include installing new electrical systems, as well as maintaining, operating, and repairing existing systems. An Electrical Technician is highly skilled regarding electrical equipment, lock-out/tag-out processes and common electrical systems in the hospital environment including but not limited to emergency generators and emergency power supply systems. The electrical technician should be knowledgeable in maintaining core systems to regulatory compliance standards. All technicians should be willing to assist facility management operations in other non-electrical maintenance activities as assigned. 3 years relevant experience.

Location Description LewisGale Hospital Montgomery has provided quality healthcare services since 1910. We give patient's access to trained physicians and advanced technology. Our 140+ bed hospital is one of the leading acute care facilities in Southwest Virginia and New River Valley. We specialize in heart and vascular care—with the only cardiac catheterization lab in the New River Valley. We perform percutaneous coronary intervention - (stent and angioplasty). We provide services in orthopedic and spine care, and heartburn treatment at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery’s Heartburn Treatment Center. Our maternity services through our family-focused Birthing Center facilities have award-winning lactation consultants.
