As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry and exit points, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible presence.

Pay Rate $18.54 / Hour
Job Schedule
Saturday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
Sunday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-specific procedures, site policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating issues as necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
Document observations, incidents, and irregularities according to Allied Universal policies and client site requirements.
Communicate with staff, visitors, and vendors to provide assistance and enforce location-specific rules and regulations.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any unusual activity or hazards to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements
At least one year of security-related experience.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for this role.
Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Access control or badge experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required.
Criminal history considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Drug screen as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
