GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye to capture every detail as you scan a series of screens.

Site location: Oxford, MS

Set schedule: Full‑time, 2nd shift 1 pm–8 pm (Sunday); 3rd shift 9 pm–4 am (Monday–Thursday)

Competitive hourly wage of $18 per hour (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Responsibilities

Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity

Document events and incidents, writing detailed reports

Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats

Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety

Control access to secure areas, verify visitor identities

Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions

Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies

Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the U.S.

High school diploma or GED (documentation required)

Pass an extensive security screening process

Strong report‑writing skills

Sharp visual activity and concentration skills

Strong proficiency with technology

Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus

State license if required
