Resident Care Assistant – Assisted Living
Franciscan Ministries is a vibrant senior living community located in Parma, Ohio. We are seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) to join our dedicated caregiving team.
Location Parma, OH – Mount Alverna Village, part of Franciscan Ministries
Employment Type Part‑time, 2 p.m. – 10:15 p.m.
Compensation USD $16.00 – $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Follow resident assessment in providing services to residents.
Assist in updating each resident’s assessment.
Assist residents with personal laundry upon request.
Assist in preparing residents for meals, serving meals, bussing tables during mealtimes, and cleaning the dining room.
Assist with cleaning residents’ apartments.
Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
Remind residents to take prescribed medication.
Encourage socialization among residents.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Must enjoy working with the senior population.
One year of caregiving experience (preferred).
