Overview
Warrant Technologies is seeking a Journeyman Software Sustainer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of mission‑critical software systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience developing web and server‑side applications using Java, Spring frameworks, RESTful services, and Oracle‑based SQL. This role will work closely with a collaborative team to troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and contribute to the sustainment of existing applications within an Agile environment. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of professional development experience, a strong understanding of backend development practices, and an active DoD Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain an Interim Secret). Experience with front‑end frameworks such as Angular, TypeScript, SASS, and state management tools like NgRx is a strong plus, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Struts, Node.js, and iText. A Security+ certification is also desired. This position is ideal for a motivated developer who enjoys problem‑solving, supporting operational systems, and working in a dynamic DevOps environment. 3+ years web/application development experience with strong proven understanding of Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Data, 3+ years development experience of building and supporting server‑side components using RESTful services 3+ years development experience of building and supporting backend Oracle‑based SQL DOD Secret Security Clearance (Interim Secret to start) Experience in software development as a developer, with at least 2 years working on sophisticated IT projects/initiatives in an Agile methodology framework Development experience with Angular 12+, SASS, TypeScript, and Node JS experience Development experience using State Management libraries (NgRx) Experience building and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools Development experience using Maven Development experience using Struts iText experience Security+ Certification
