The Cleaner performs building maintenance duties, handling floor cleaning, equipment usage, and facility upkeep while adhering to safety, security, and quality standards. Responsibilities
Clean building floors using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, following proper chemical and equipment procedures. Use ladders, dust, wash furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; clean ceilings, dust light fixtures, wash and replace blinds. Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment using hand trucks or manual methods. Remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors with chemicals and solutions; maintain seasonal tasks such as sweeping, leaf removal, mowing, snow removal. Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water, detergents, or acids in containers according to specifications. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors; vacuum carpeted areas with spot cleaning treatment. Gather and empty trash; wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas. Polish furniture and fixtures; clean and supply restrooms. Clean interior partitions, glass, windows, mirrors using sponges, squeegees, and soapy water. Apply insecticides and fumigants to prevent infestation. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding for events such as banquets and meetings. Keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly; maintain equipment in good working order. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance usage for hazards. Drive vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners. Make basic repairs as needed. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of ageli> Clearance and Polygraph required. Work history to meet ATS environment requirements (if applicable) and ten-year work history if available. Preferred Qualifications
Customer Service Experience. 1 year of similar cleaning work experience. Pay
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour. Pay varies by applicant experience, skills, geographic location, and market data. Benefits
