About the Role Purpose

Maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, environmental, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation and new installations. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of the plant.

What you will accomplish Key responsibilities

Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to: assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE.

Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to: developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment.

Solid individual safety track record.

Demonstrated knowledge and skill set of the industrial electrical field including: understanding of electrical units of measure, AC/DC voltage characteristics, understanding of basic circuits.

Proven effective verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of hand tool usage & safety.

Able to procure required tools for the position within three months of job transfer.

Must be able to successfully pass the prerequisite electrical examination.

Willing to work weekends, night shifts, and call‑outs, as needed. This position will have an alternating schedule of days and nights working 6:00–6:00.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

What we’re looking for

Education: High School diploma/GED; The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s/Technical degree in an electrical or a related field. Additional Education Preferred: Journeyman License.

Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Technology, Industrial electrician.

Required Work Experience: 1–3 years of electrical in a manufacturing environment.

Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of processing methods and appropriate planning techniques. Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. AP experience strongly desired.

Travel Requirements: Some travel required.

Additional Requirements

Demonstrated leadership and self‑direction, motivation and able to work independently or with a team.

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators.
