Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and research, is seeking a Calibration Technician II to join their team. As a Calibration Technician II, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting calibration and measurement accuracy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a metrology background, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title Calibration Technician II
Location Irving, TX
Pay Range 18/hr – 20/hr
Responsibilities
Perform calibration functions on all testing and measuring equipment across Manufacturing and Research operations.
Ensure equipment calibration complies with written and automated procedures, maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Coordinate external calibration services for equipment that cannot be maintained internally.
Maintain clear, concise records to facilitate problem identification and regulatory compliance.
Support the development and improvement of department procedures related to calibration processes.
Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED, Associate’s Degree, or equivalent work experience.
0–3 years of related calibration experience, with explicit ISO 17025 calibration knowledge.
Strong understanding of metrology, including dimensional, electronic, and mechanical calibration.
Experience with purchase orders and vendor communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and proficiency with equipment tracking systems.
