Role Description
This is a full-time, on‑site role for a Journeyman at Harvest Solar Inc., located in Greater Houston. The Journeyman will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes. Day‑to‑day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring and connecting solar systems, and performing system tests to ensure proper functionality. Collaborating with team members and maintaining safety standards on‑site are key aspects of this role. Qualifications
Proficiency in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety protocols Experience in solar panel installation and general construction work Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics accurately Physical fitness to perform on‑site tasks including lifting and climbing Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Valid electrician license or equivalent certification required Experience in renewable energy systems is a plus Seniority level
