Weston Tennis Center is looking for a Part‑Time Tennis Shop Front Desk Attendant. The facility boasts 16 courts, including 15 hydro‑clay courts and one championship hard court. It includes men’s and women’s showers, lockers, a covered patio area for pre‑ and post‑match relaxation, and a fully stocked pro shop selling racquets, shoes and tennis apparel.

General Purpose Provide superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting management with merchandising, inventory control, reservations, and special‑events preparation.

Essential Duties

Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop or store as directed by management.

Maintain accountability for all POS transactions.

Collect applicable fees from members, guests and external patrons upon arrival.

Make reservations for courts, clinics, lessons and special events, in person or by phone.

Assist guests in sales and provide product information professionally.

Perform rotating stock and maintain clean, orderly displays.

Help keep the shop clean and orderly.

Assist the shop supervisor with creating appealing displays.

Assist with monthly physical inventories.

Collaborate with coaches to ensure orderly start and play times.

Incorporate safe work practices in all job duties.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Perform other duties as required or needed.

Education / Experience

High‑school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Frequently stand and use hands; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.

Regularly walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch.

Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Environment / Noise

Occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions.

The noise level is moderate.

Certificates / Licenses

None required.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job.

Active tennis player with knowledge of the game.

Retail sales experience is preferred.

Computer proficiency including POS, Microsoft Office, social media, and tennis‑related programs such as tennisdirector.com or Club Automation.

SENIORITY LEVEL: Entry Level
