Key Responsibilities

Perform all assigned activities & job tasks within a line or area.

Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Takes corrective actions to solve problems at the root‑cause level.

Assess equipment operating reliability, perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting.

Work with maintenance to complete preventive maintenance of equipment.

Maintain accurate records of quality control checks, production numbers, or waste performance.

Keep detailed logbooks and perform shift support documentation in a quality manner.

Perform quality control tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc.

Own product quality with high degree of responsibility for standard quality checks & related duties.

Operate a forklift and a computer with basic standard desktop systems (LSS, PSL, MIS, SQCIS, etc.).

Understand principles of inventory control.

Know the plant’s products and goals.

Understand production schedules, production computer systems, and work instructions.

Have general knowledge of Mars & the systems used by the business.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

Stand on a concrete floor.

Wear proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform).

Bend, stoop, twist, turn, stand for extended periods, reach, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Forklift assignments require OSHA certification and frequent on/off operation.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

Stand on a concrete floor.

Wear required personal protective equipment.

Lift up to 50 lbs and perform required movements.

Hold OSHA certification for forklift and demonstrate ability to operate forklift.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines.

Knowledge of inventory control principles.

OSHA certification and ability to operate a forklift.

Experience with SAP.
