Base Pay Range $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Role Overview Assistant Superintendent needed for a brand‑new multifamily project in South Bend. You will support the Lead Superintendent in managing daily jobsite operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Superintendent with daily jobsite coordination and scheduling

Help manage subcontractor activity, deliveries, and inspections

Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

Track progress, document field activities, and support quality control efforts

Participate in project meetings, reporting, and conflict resolution

Learn and grow toward eventually running your own projects

Requirements

3–5 years of construction experience, ideally with multifamily or mixed‑use projects

Ground‑up construction experience required

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong familiarity with construction plans, specs, and field technology (Procore a plus)

Local to the South Bend area preferred, but not required

OSHA 30 certification is a plus
