Minimum Requirements
Ability to obtain fingerprinting ($65)
Ability to obtain a negative TB test ($60)
Ability to obtain CPR card within 30 days and complete all state mandated courses within 30 days
High School Diploma at minimum, C.D.A., Associates, or Bachelor's preferred
Reliable Transportation (please see location)
Able to work any shift between 7:00 am- 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, early literacy, etc.) to build young children's development.
Help toddlers to improve their social competencies and build self-esteem and self help skills
Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and psyche
Collaborate with other educators
Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
Skills
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and early childhood educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
