Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our electrical services group, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and supervising junior technicians. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pumps and other equipment
Read and interpret one‑line drawings
Use multimeters, ampmeters, and meggers to test and measure electrical systems
Terminate common types of electrical equipment
Supervise and train junior technicians
Assist in managing projects and providing on‑call support
Work in adverse weather conditions and climb ladders, stairs, and gangways up to 25 feet in height
Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Physical ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and climb ladders, stairs, and gangways up to 25 feet in height
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and work above head for extended periods of time
Valid TWIC and driver's license
Clean driving record with no DWI convictions
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug and alcohol test
Previous experience in the electrical service industry
Good communication skills and professional manner in dealing with colleagues, management, and customers
