CNC Machinist
located in
Austin, TX.
Shift 1st Shift: 4X10 6:00am – 4:30pm Tuesday-Friday
Job Description
Setup and operate various conventional machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, vertical and horizontal saws to produce and detail a variety of small parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances and hold to finishes specifications.
Must be able to setup and operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Mazak vertical mills with Mazatrol.
Work with priority listings to complete fixtures/parts as required for production floor.
Accurately read 3 dimensional drawings and blueprints and be able to setup manual machines to within tolerance specified to produce products/fixtures.
Performs machine set‑ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machined parts to specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
Checks machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances.
Make edits to CNC programming at machine controls if needed.
Must understand GD&T.
Must be able to use measurement equipment.
