Position: Production MIG Welder - First Shift at HOMESTEADER, LLC.
Base pay: $20.00/hr.

Founded in 1985, the company is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of enclosed cargo trailers, hydraulic dump trailers, motorcycle trailers, enclosed car haulers, auto trailers and horse trailers.
Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6 am or 7 am to 4:51 pm. Plan shutdowns include Christmas week and Fourth of July week (one week paid vacation after 6 months of employment).

Responsibilities
Read production orders and tape measures.
Set, assemble, and attach wall, roof, and front sections using a MIG welder to the steel main frame (Wall/Roof Set Welder).
Layout, assemble, and MIG weld steel frame parts on a jig table (Frame Table Welder).
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read production orders and tape measures.
Demonstrated welding experience sufficient to pass a practical welding assessment.
Certification is not required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment The position requires frequent use of hands or fingers, handling objects and tools, occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee may need to lift or move up to 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, respirator, and hard hats must be worn. Loose clothing and jewelry are prohibited. Noise level is usually moderate to high.
