Automotive Mechanic
Location: Cleveland, OH (state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers).
About the Position As Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs, Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Responsibilities include brake, strut and shock replacement; completing state‑mandated inspections; changing oil and filters; checking fluids; replacing worn parts; dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires; and any tasks related to undercar maintenance.

Qualifications
At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Extensive toolbox of personal tools used for undercar repairs.
Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair; regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
