Location: Spruce Pine, North Carolina
The BRP Marine Propulsion Systems facility in Spruce Pine is a full-service lost foam plant that creates aluminum castings from polystyrene bead. The team is supportive and dedicated to high quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Meet schedule attainment based on production needs
Produce quality parts as required by product specifications
Utilize molding press machinery to form a variety of foam sections
Set up molding presses as instructed
Visually inspect parts to find defects
Maintain, calibrate, and program equipment
Follow established safety rules
Train new operators
Promote and model BRP values
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with basic operation of hand tools
Basic computer knowledge; basic computer programming familiarity is a plus
Visual acuity to identify part incongruities
Self-motivated
Works well with others
Good communication skills
Able to effectively follow written and verbal processes
