Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Core Hours:
Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Shift Premium:
$0.50 per hour
Pay Rate:
$24.87 per hour (subject to change with experience, qualifications, and market factors)

What You’ll Do The Machine Operator will:
Operate sheet metal fabrication machines
Read shop orders and engineering drawings
Perform quality checks and use calibration equipment such as calipers
Work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum)
Run various machine operations (brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing & hand sheering)
Participate in safety and quality training (e.g., press operation, guarding, trip devices, dye setting, light curtain procedures, first‑piece quality inspection, in‑process inspection, Linknet training, laser operator training)
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of machine‑operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Eligible for relocation within 50‑mile radius of Troy, IL (no relocation benefit offered)
No immigration sponsorship for this position
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of machine‑operating experience
Experience reading blueprints
Experience with calipers and other calibration equipment
Prior SAP experience
Proficient with basic computer applications
Position Success Criteria
Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑driven and proactive
