Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician to join our team. As a leader in our shop, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high level of efficiency, promoting teamwork, and ensuring the expedient delivery of top‑notch automotive services.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Motivation
Provide of example of leadership to achieve high levels of productivity and quality service.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Shop Organization and Efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop to enhance productivity.
Implement and enforce shop procedures for optimal performance.
Focus on Technology
Stay abreast of the latest automotive technologies and implement them into repair and diagnostic processes.
Provide guidance and training to the team on new technologies.
Advanced Diagnostics
Demonstrate expertise in advanced diagnostics, ensuring accurate identification of complex vehicle issues.
Mentor team members in advanced diagnostic techniques.
Vehicle Inspection
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and assess mechanical issues, safety concerns, and areas requiring maintenance.
Provide detailed reports on inspection findings, including recommended repairs and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
Personal Billable Hours
Consistently produce a minimum of 30 billable hours per week through hands‑on work.
Lead by example in delivering high‑quality, efficient repairs.
Key Performance Indicators
Vehicle Inspection
Measure inspection completion and accuracy rate of identified critical issues.
Diagnostic Accuracy
Evaluate and enhance the accuracy of diagnostics performed.
Customer Satisfaction
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through quality repairs and excellent service.
Training and Development
Assess and enhance your skill levels through training and development initiatives.
Efficiency Metrics
Monitor and improve technician efficiency metrics, including turnaround times and completion rates.
