$20-21.50/hr
Description Seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a local manufacturing facility. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a key role in supporting daily production operations. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position provides facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, as well as repair and replacement maintenance activities on all primary industrial and secondary equipment.
Essential Functions
Complete work orders in a timely manner, with minimal disruption to production
Perform assigned preventative maintenance activities and respond to scheduled calls for maintenance support; typically job duties involve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic activities
Collaborate with other team members such as set-up and technicians as required to diagnose and identify needed maintenance repairs
Submit purchase requisitions with authorization from the supervisor to obtain needed parts, equipment, and practices
Responsible for stopping all work activities that cannot be performed safely
Participate in special projects as assigned
Work with outside vendors as required
Safely operate forklift and other industrial equipment
Maintain and update documentation and records as required
Conform with and abide by all regulations policies, work procedures, and instructions
Ability to professionally communicate with all other departments and report issues to management teams as required
Job Requirements
3 or more years of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic experience is required
Knowledge of Plastic Blow mold equipment is preferred
Strong Electrical knowledge is preferred
3 or more years of experience performing diagnostics and repair PLC, VSD, and other instrumentation is strongly preferred
3 or more years of experience performing diagnosis and repair closed loop hydraulics is preferred
Stage III Mechanic experience is preferred
Production/Manufacturing experience is preferred
Shift/Schedule 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available
