$85,000–$95,000 annually

Role Overview

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a manufacturing company seeking a HAAS CNC Machinist with hands‑on experience operating HAAS equipment. This direct‑hire opportunity is ideal for machinists with 3–5 years of CNC experience who are looking to advance their skills, take on increased responsibility, and grow within a stable, precision‑focused environment. In this role, you will set up, operate, and inspect CNC‑machined parts while supporting production efficiency and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate HAAS CNC machines, including mills and/or lathes

Load programs, perform tool offsets, and make basic program edits as needed

Produce precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications

Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools

Troubleshoot routine machining and tooling issues

Complete production and quality documentation accurately

Follow safety, quality, and shop procedures

Support continuous improvement efforts across machining and production processes

Required & Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of CNC machining experience in a production environment

Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

Working knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tolerances

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with HAAS CNC machines

Familiarity with Mastercam or similar CAM software

Basic CNC programming or G‑code editing experience

Experience producing tight‑tolerance or precision components

Technical Skills & Technologies

CNC machine setup and operation (HAAS preferred)

Basic CNC programming and G‑code comprehension

Precision measurement and inspection

Tooling selection and offset adjustments

Understanding of machining materials and best practices
