Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B
at our Martin Brower facility in East Point, GA. Prior experience with lift gates, trailers, and reefer units is highly desirable.
Shift options:
Tues–Sat 10:30 am–7:00 pm, Sun–Thurs 3:00 pm–11:30 pm.
Pay:
$28.00–$34.00 /hr, based on experience and qualifications.

Position Responsibilities
Focus on preventative maintenance of fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures and performing repairs as needed.
Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance.
Inspect brake systems to ensure equipment is in proper operating condition and verify licensing and registration requirements.
Use hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers) to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience.
Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds.
Must possess own tools (minimum tool requirement).
Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
Preferred Education and Experience
Technical school certification.
