Quality Control Technician 1
Contract to Hire

$25.00 -$28.00 D.O.E.
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00 or 5:30pm depending on overtime - required
Summary Perform final inspection tasks, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all orthodontic appliances prior to shipment. Identify defects and quality issues, log all related information, and process steps required to reverse and correct said defects and issues with varying levels of instruction and supervision.
Your Daily Activities will Include:
Perform detailed inspections of orthodontic appliances to ensure they meet specifications, fit requirements, and quality standards with general level of supervision and direction
Understand and identify defects, nonconformities, or deviations and communicate findings to appropriate departments for correction
Verify case information, prescription accuracy, and work order details
Document inspection results and maintain quality control records
Record production information and track work progress
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Experience in a quality inspection role required
Ability to work in a stationary, seated position for several hours at a time
Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and small print for assemblies
Basic knowledge of orthodontic appliance types and functions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
