Job Overview
Operate assembly and testing machines in a safe and efficient manner according to the most current Quality System. Ensure machines produce quality parts at required production rates while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
A Day In The Life
Operate assembly/testing machines and processes to produce quality parts per customer specifications using Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles.
Perform 100% trim and inspection; identify and segregate scrap.
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments to assembly/testing equipment.
Complete daily paperwork, including hour-by-hour charts, part counts, and packaging.
Maintain safety, quality, production, and 5S housekeeping standards.
Assist/support other departments as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly; occasional lifting up to 44 lbs.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and twisting.
Exposure to noise, dust, grease, oils, and occasional fumes.
Ability to work closely with others or independently.
Protracted or irregular hours (shift work).
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (work experience may substitute).
Preferred: Prior manufacturing experience.
Basic communication (reading, writing, verbal).
Basic math at high school level.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
Good listening skills.
Hand tools knowledge/use.
Basic computer (PC) skills.
Organizational skills.
