Production Associate: Grinder
Location: Hartselle, AL
Wage: $24.33 per hour
Shift: 4:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday, with overtime on Friday

What You’ll Be Doing The roles performed include MIG welding mild steel to form the finished product. Sheet material ranges from 16GA to ¼” thick, occasional ¾” plate. Flat bar ranges from 3/16” to 1½ thick, 3” I‑Beam at 7.5 pounds per foot, and structural tubing ranges from 1¼” square to 3” × 4” rectangle. Fitting and forming parts for welding are required in certain jobs. Inspection and grinding are also required. Ability to lift 30–50 pounds is required. Works in accordance with safety and quality standards
Collaborates with all functions within the plant (safety, quality, maintenance & management)
Maintains general housekeeping (5S) of work area and department
Performs MIG welding with .045 wire and executes fillet and butt joints
Reads drawings and route sheets to determine proper job requirements
Is trained on multiple jobs and weld positions; demonstrates flexibility in job assignments
