Reporting to the Fairmont Gold Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

To monitor maintenance of the physical Fairmont Gold product

Handle escalated guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas, ensuring follow up is completed

Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty

Personalize service with guests during their time in the lounge

Assist when needed with all areas of Fairmont Gold operation

Audit Front Desk operations to ensure all service standards are practiced

Audit cleanliness of all lounge areas, including food service areas and storage

Attend meetings in Fairmont Gold Manager’s absence

Complete all ordering for Attendant/lounge operations

Monitor and report food consumption and waste

Ensure food and service standards are being maintained

Maintain strong relationships and communication with Kitchens and other teams to ensure all guest needs are met

Train all new colleagues joining the team

To follow department policies, procedures and service standards according to Forbes and Michelin Key standards

To follow all safety policies

Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands This Position Requires

Frequent standing and walking throughout shift

Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20lbs.

Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Required Education And Experience

Previous guest service experience required

Previous Property Management System experience required

Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required

University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
