Responsibilities The Sterile Processing Technician 2 is responsible for the sterile processing of supplies and maintenance of the operating room and various other departments within the hospital.
Qualifications Education
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Licenses and Certifications
CRCST - Certified Registered Central Services Technician Certification from IAHCSMM required
or
CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician Certification from CBSPD required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
