This Position reports to: Production
Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.
The work model for the role is: Onsite.
Assemble products by following engineering documents and work instructions
Operate computer to check schedules and update manufacturing status of jobs
Determine wire routing, cut, strip, label, crimp and terminate wire and secure bundles in accordance with engineering documentation
Select proper hardware and, if necessary, drill, tap, punch, and cut to mount components in cabinets and on panels
Assist in training other employees, addressing and resolving inquiries and problems
Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, reject tickets, etc.
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations; maintain departmental housekeeping standards
Qualifications for the Role
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of related manufacturing / shop floor assembly experience
Ability to read and comprehend English assembly instructions, drawings, and procedure manuals
Ability to operate a wide variety of small hand and power tools, wire strippers, crimping tools, soldering tools, hand taps and punches, hand trucks, heat guns, a variety of precision measuring devices, a computer and keyboard
