Position Summary bIndustrial Maintenance Electrician:b The Industrial Maintenance Electrician reports to Electrical Supervisor, Crew Leader, and Plant Engineering Department. Performs repair, maintenance duties, troubleshooting, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must hold a current journeyman card and be able to work a swift shift.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoots electrical systems from 480Vac to 110Vac and 48Vdc to 5Vdc.
Checks and records instrumentation readings on critical plant equipment, including electrical, air gas, water and oil systems.
Performs maintenance and repairs on electrical, air, gas, water and oil systems.
Troubleshoots new and existing equipment.
Monitors, inspects and operates systems to make necessary adjustments and repairs as required.
Become highly knowledgeable in all aspects of plant operations.
Participants will be enrolled in the federally approved Bureau of Apprenticeship Training joint Apprenticeship Program and maintain GPA per program requirements.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
Physically able to work any position.
Must be able to move heavy equipment.
Visual acuity 20/20, far and near, with correction if necessary.
Requirements
Must be able to work swing shift, which includes weekends.
Must hold a Journeyman Card.
Salary Range $35.67 per hour
